Paris Michael Katherine Jackson Finally Speaks

Paris Michael Katherine, 11 year-old daughter of Michael Jackson, made a short but emotional tribute to her father at today's memorial at La's Staples. In a moment that swept the entire world, Paris Katherine Jackson approached the microphone and let the world know what an excellent father she had.

Paris speech followed after her uncle Marlon Jackson, she stepped forward to the mike, flanked by her aunt Janet and her uncles and said.

"I just wanted to say that ever since I was born, daddy has been the best father you could ever imagine. And I just wanted to say I love him so much," the youngster said as she burst into tears.

Paris 12-year-old brother Prince Michael Jr was also onstage at the time but chose not to speak.

Her words were among the final words spoken at the memorial, that saw tributes from Smokey Robinson, Stevie Wonder, John Mayer, Usher, Jennifer Hudson, Lionel Richie, Kobe Bryant, Magic Johnson, Berry Gordy and more.

Well, even though she was quickly brought to tears, her courage will remain in the hearts of millions forever. It took an enormous amount of strength for an 11 year old girl to address the world and what she showed us was that she was mourning more than an icon, she is mourning her father.
